White birch

White birch – the most widespread tree in Europe, Asia and North America. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree, usually reaching 15 to 25 m high, with characteristic white bark. Birch is the color of betulin, a substance with a multidirectional, beneficial effect. Birch as a tree symbolizes joy. It is one of the most important medicinal plants: birch juice (sap) is known for its nutritional and cleansing properties, infusions of leaves are helpful in kidney diseases, and wood and bark obtain tar, a natural preparation, effective in many skin diseases.
