INCI: Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Cocamidopropyl betaine– belongs to the group of amphoteric surfactants. It is obtained from natural raw materials (coconut oil), has good foaming properties, also antibacterial. As a mild detergent, it partially leaves the lipid layer intact, therefore it is not as highly cleansing surfactant as ordinary surfactants belonging to the anionic group. It occurs in almost every conventional product, because it soothes the effect of irritating SLS, SLES etc.
