INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol

Cetostearyl alcohol – the main components are cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol (fatty alcohols). It is an emollient stabilizing the emulsion and giving it a proper consistency. Used in skin and hair care products, it creates an occlusive layer on the surface that prevents excessive water evaporation (this is an indirect moisturizing effect), softens and smoothes the skin and hair.
