Beeswax

Beeswax – is obtained from wax combs produced by Apis mellifica bees. It is the secretion of the glands on the abdominal side of the abdomen of the insect. Wax is a yellow solid mass, composed mainly of esters of fatty acids, waxy alcohols, sterols and carotenoids.

Beeswax is s a frequent component of lipsticks and lip balms. It makes the skin more elastic, smoothes and softens the skin, gives the hair shine. It has a bactericidal effect. Perfectly oils, creates a protective barrier and prevents skin drying.
